Laundromat business......part 3

self-service laundromat are primarily for people who do not have their own machines at home, and those whose machines at home do not have the capacity to do their laundry articles.
there are several brands of machines out there for self-service laundromat. The more dominated brands you see in most laundromats included Speed Queen, Maytag, Dexter, Primus, Electrolux, ADC, Huebsch, Wascomat, etc..
these machines come in various sizes.
in the self-service laundry sector, you may seen washers/extractors as large as 80 lbs or 36 kgs capacity.
in the on-premise laundry sector, you might see washers/extractors as large as 265 lbs or 120 kgs.

fish farming.......

I've been looking into fish farming business. Seems like a worthwhile venture to pursuit. Location is a key to the operation's success. Difficult to get properties that have natural springs or nearby streams that you could use the water.
designs for the fish ponds are also important.
once the fingerings are raised to market size, you need to get them to the market.
have to figure out which species of fish to do farming with, seems like catfish would be suitable for most weathers and locations.

Isn't it scary when you see the error on your screen? How about "1error"? It does look like "terror", right?
That's exactly right. There is a reason why terror is spelling using error, because they both can enter the human soul and wake it up. Why do we respond to such terrifying image such as the spelling? It's because our minds have been conditioned for millions of years through a process called evolution, which leads us to believe that bad things happen and our survival depends on our ability to recognize bad things and having the ability to avoid or escape. And so that's how we probably came to react to 1error.
But what we used to know as terror is becoming a thing of the past. What we have coming to face and will be facing for the long future is 1error. Terror comes from outside of ourself, but 1error is in ourselves. Each and everyone of us knows what it's like to have 1error. It's not the known error that worries us. We are smart and we can handle error. It is the 1error that worries most of the people, because it's nowhere to be seen or heard or taste or touch. It can only be detected through logical conclusion which many people lack.
Isn't it a 1errorifying thing to know that one day all that you know to be you is not you because of 1error? It would only be 1errorifying for those who know how to be. As for those who know not and have no the ability to understand the existing of such thing will not feel terrify. What one does not know can harm or kill one, but it does not scare.

Back to Summer class

I am back to taking summer class this week. The class is Organizational Behavior and will run until July 9. There is a 150 points exam each week of which 50 points are from each chapter. A test includes 5 chapters. There does not seem to be a whole lot of reading, but more than enough to keep me busy. I guess I will have to put my other project aside for the next 4 weeks. Until I am done with this class, I will work my other projects again.
Projects I have been working on for the last 3 weeks includes:

- Hmongmelody.com
- Hmonggenealogy.com
- chaomoua.com/hmongdictionary
The Hmong Dictionary still needs a lot of work to redesign the layout as well as cleaning up the code and adding some more interesting features to make it talk 
The next major project to tackle is probably going to be the HmongOracle.com site. I can't give much detail about what it's going to be, but I have it thought out about what to do with it. Right now it's link to one of my oldest project: Ntaus Ntawv Saib Hmoov, which is host with the domain HmongAstrology.com. It's a small and simple scrípt I wrote a long time ago, but it seems quite interesting that people are using the site to calm their souls. 
Anyway, this will be it for today. I have a lot on my plate for now.

well, the choice of machines are not that many.
location is the primary important criteria. it needs to be located where there is high density residential properties, particularly young families or singles.
trading area is generally under 5-miles diameter or 2-kilometers diameter.
needs to be in highly traffic area, with good exposures. parking facility must be adequate and in good conditions, that customers feel safe to do their laundry.
generally aim to get breakeven at about 2 turns per day, so operating expenses must be below that breakeven revenues target.
a very difficult decision is whether to buy an existing one or to build a brand new one. existing ones generally are for sale on the market up to 5 times their net incomes.
a thought is that we need to locate within walking distance to major transportation hubs, such as train stations, bus stations, tram/bus routes, shopping strips, and shopping centres.

Critical Mass, part 3...........

Back in January 2009, I started this blog regarding critical mass. Back then www.AsianMe.com had about 600 members. As of April 2010, that number has climbed to about 800 members.
here I am again, wondering ......what is going to take for us all to have relationships with each other? 
the number of relationships (R) between us could be R = 800(800-1)/2 = 319,600 
can each one of us make an effort to invite at least one person every day to www.AsianMe.com?

the arithmetic rate of return (ROR) or return on investment (ROI) is generally the difference of the final value and initial value of the asset over the value of the inital asset....
in mathematical formula = ROR = ROI = (Vf-Vi)/Vi
if you bought a property/real estate at $100,000 in January and sold that asset in December for $150,000, then your ROI = ($150,000-$100,000)/$100,000 = $50,000/$100,000 = 0.50 = 50%
that would be a really high return in the real estate industry
if you could do this 100 times or do this with 100 properties, then you would be a millionaire.....$5,000,000
real estate is capital intensive, requiring lots of money, to be in business. finding the right properties to buy is also difficult as well.
expected rate of return for rental property is about 6% in this country. if you rent out this $100,000 property, you would be expected to earn $6,000 per year for it--that's $16 per day
